HIPAA-compliant AI medical scribe
Be in the visit, not in the chart.
Quillentra listens in the exam room, on a video call or to your dictation, and drafts a structured note in your own template. You review every line, accept or reject each AI edit, sign, and paste it into your EHR.

How it works
Record. Review. Sign.
From the exam room to a finished note in three steps. You decide what goes into the chart.
- 01
Record
Pick a template, confirm the patient's consent and press record — in the exam room, on a telehealth call, or as a dictation afterwards.
- 02
Review
When you stop, a structured draft appears in your template. Edit it directly, or ask for a change and accept or reject each tracked edit.
- 03
Sign & paste
Sign the note, then copy all of it or a single section into your EHR with formatting intact, or export a PDF or Word file.

The visit, the note, and everything after
Capture, drafting, edits and the letters that follow — in one workspace that runs in your browser.
Capture any kind of visit
Record in the exam room, capture both sides of a telehealth call from a browser tab, dictate afterwards, or upload a recording. Pause and resume as often as you need.
Edit by asking
Type “make the plan more concise” and the change comes back as a tracked edit. Accept it, reject it, or keep editing the note yourself.
Letters from the same visit
Referral letters, prior authorizations, after-visit summaries and work notes, drafted from the visit you just recorded.
Your structure, your template
Start from 40 built-in templates, change any section, or turn an example document into a template of your own.
19 languages
Transcribe the visit in the language it happened in, and write the note in the language your chart needs.
Learns how you write
Add standing instructions, and let Quillentra learn your style from the edits you make when you sign. Review, edit or pause it at any time.

Security & privacy
Patient data stays under a BAA at every step
Quillentra runs on Amazon Web Services, and every service that processes patient information has signed a Business Associate Agreement with us.
- A Business Associate Agreement on every plan, accepted when you set up your practice
- AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit
- Sign in with Google, Apple or an emailed code; an optional password always requires an authenticator app
- Audio deleted once the note is written, unless your practice keeps it for 7 or 30 days
- Visit data is never used to train AI models
- A tamper-evident audit trail, and automatic sign-out after 15 minutes of inactivity

FAQ
Questions clinicians ask first
Straight answers about privacy, setup, templates and billing.
More answers in Help & guides.
How does Quillentra work?
Start a visit, choose a template and confirm the patient's consent, then record. When you stop, Quillentra transcribes the conversation and drafts the note in your template. You review and edit it — directly, or by asking the AI and accepting its tracked changes — then sign it and paste it into your EHR.
Is Quillentra HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Every practice is covered by our Business Associate Agreement, and every vendor that touches patient information has signed one with us. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You sign in with Google, Apple or a one-time email code, and anyone who adds an optional password must also use an authenticator app. Every view, edit and export is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail. Canadian clinicians can read our PIPEDA page.
How do I explain Quillentra to my patients?
Many clinicians say something like: “I use a secure assistant that helps me write my notes, so I can focus on you instead of my keyboard. The recording is deleted once the note is written. Is that okay with you?” Quillentra asks you to confirm consent before every recording. If your practice keeps audio for 7 or 30 days, tell patients that instead.
Does it work on my phone, tablet or computer?
Quillentra runs in the web browser on any modern phone, tablet or computer — there's nothing to install. Capturing telehealth audio from a browser tab requires desktop Chrome or Edge.
Will it integrate with my EHR?
Quillentra doesn't connect directly to EHRs. Copy the whole note or a single section with its formatting intact and paste it into any EHR, or export the note as a PDF or Word file.
Can my notes be customized?
Yes. Start from 40 built-in templates, edit any section's instructions, format and length, or create a template from an example document. You can add standing instructions, and Quillentra can learn your style from the edits you make when you sign — you can review, edit or pause what it learns at any time.
What languages does Quillentra support?
19 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean and Arabic — both for the spoken visit and for the language the note is written in.
Is there a limit to how long a visit can be?
A single recording can run for up to five hours, and you can pause and resume as often as you need. Uploaded recordings can be up to 500 MB.
Does it work with dictation and uploaded recordings?
Yes. Dictate a note after the visit, or upload an MP3, M4A, WAV, WebM, OGG or FLAC recording.
How is Quillentra billed?
Plans belong to your practice, not to individual clinicians. Every practice can start on the Free plan without a credit card, and every plan lets you invite your whole team as members or admins. Paid plans are billed to the practice each month per seat, and everyone in the practice is a seat: owners, admins and members alike. The Pricing page has the details.
